The Herrmann Family was probably the most famous and prominent family of magicians in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Their history dates since the early 1800s with Samuel Herrmann who was the father of Compars and Alexander Herrmann. Alexander later married Adelaide, who after his death kept the family name going along with Leon and Felix Herrmann.

Norm Nielsen is a big fan of the Herrmanns and designed this poster.
